How Does Pick-Your-Own Work at Erdbeerhof Dahmen?

1. Just Drop By – No Appointment Needed!

At Erdbeerhof Dahmen, you don’t need to book in advance. During the strawberry season, simply come by during our opening hours. Our fields are open and ready for you to enjoy a fresh, local, and delicious experience.

2. Weigh Your Container Before Picking

Bring your own bowl or container—or use one of ours. Before you head out to the fields, stop at the scale station to weigh your empty container. This is important so we can deduct the container’s weight later and only charge you for the strawberries you picked.

3. Head to the Fields and Start Picking

Now the fun part begins! Walk out to the fields and start picking. Choose only the ripest, reddest strawberries for the best flavor. Children are welcome and love this hands-on activity—just make sure they’re supervised.

4. Weigh and Pay

Once your container is full (or you’re full!), return to the scale station. We’ll weigh your filled container, subtract the empty weight, and calculate your total price. Then simply pay at the checkout—and enjoy your fresh-picked strawberries at home!
